Of what is left undone

Well as you can see that I am back on my blog. Hopefully with the turn of recent events I will be able to bring my poem to an ending. I am not sure whether it would have an appropriate finish. 25 years was a long wait......

50 min. chat on meeting a once close friend after 25 yrs set me thinking..It made me review my view of things..not that z view pt was wrong, on the contrary was more mature and realistic however I am not tuned to thinking that way. I do not find human relationships as simple that I can deem them not to matter after a passage of time. Human relationships for me arnt electric switches that can be on or off. With me, it takes years to develop a view or an opinion and it takes something as drastic to change or alter. What ever be the case this meeting will be with me for a long to come to dwell upon and may be in our next meeting after the next 25 years I can prove to him that my viewpoint though not as realistic is more humane.

To hold still waters and wait for the storm. To listen to silence with unusual calm To reflect deep in depths unknown To reach that high, you've never known I'm not what I used to be........... Reading lines written by a sweet cousin brought me back to this page. I had promised myself to write more often but oft did not find enough inspiration or the time to sit back and reflect. I knew there were changes in an around me and used to ponder what brought them about. Have I found the answers.... is a difficult thing to say however seeing her use silence as a different medium of expression definitely brings back unfolding memories about the basis of this blog... Of what is left undone....and I hope some day I will be able to complete my poem.

(Quran 5:8) It is time that we speak our minds or history will not forgive us for remaining silent & being a mute witness to oppression. Those who remain silent and dont voice atleast their disapproval would be considered a party to the crime.........

Rao, stills a mystery but I got my answers for the other. Late last night while I read the political antecedents of BO's to be staff like Hillary, James Jones & Rahm Emanuel I was sure the muslim ummah wont be missing George at all. I can only sympathise with the American people, like I do with the Pakistanis, for being politically waylayed as they voted for 'change'. Indians are lucky because they weren't promised anything anyway, so they dont get anything.....

It is oft seen that silence is the modus operandi. We saw it with Narsimha Rao earlier & today with Barak Obama. Closing your doors does not stop the fire, it can only give you the trancient illusion that you are secure. I dont deny the right of Isreal to defend its territory but what surprises me is that the exessive use of force doesn't spurn the world leadership to stop the massacre except a feeble press conference from the Arab league which uses any such a situation to come togather in a five star hotel, have lunch, make a meaningless press statement and go home. A well earned luncheon indeed......or the holidaying president-elect, 'who actually deserved the holiday after such a painstaking election campaign', to keep on frolicing on the sands of Hawaii...after all the toll in the bombing is just 400.......
